It’s May. Here’s What I’m Wishing for You.

It’s May.

And if you’re a writer — here’s what I’m praying over your creative life this month:

May the words come when you sit down.

Not perfect ones. Just honest ones. The kind that move your story forward, even when you’re not sure where it’s going.

May what you write be exactly what someone needs to read.

Because it will be. Your story matters more than you know — and the reader who needs it is already out there, waiting.

May these revisions finally click.

May the scene that’s been haunting you suddenly make sense. May the pacing fall into place. May you finally see what’s been working all along.

May you trust the story God gave you.

Even when it feels too big. Even when the doubt creeps in. He gave you this story for a reason — and He’s not done with it yet.

May your draft become a finished book.

Not someday. This year. This season. May you finally cross that finish line and hold your story in your hands.

May more writers find this and feel seen.

Because we need each other. We need reminders that we’re not alone in the revision spiral, the self-doubt, the quiet moments when we wonder if it’s even worth it.

It is.

A Little News for May

I’ve been working on something that I believe will help you get there.

The Finished Draft is the complete system I built after editing over 1 million words — designed to help you stop spinning in revision circles and finally finish your novel.

Inside you’ll find:

  • 10 self-paced modules walking you through the entire self-editing process
  • 14 writing and editing tools to use on every draft
  • My full Writing Guide + Editing Guide (both included)
  • The Story Refinement Pack to polish plot and refine your character arcs

It’s everything I wish I had when I was stuck in that same loop — rewriting the same chapter, second-guessing every sentence, wondering if I’d ever be done.

If that sounds like where you are right now, I made this for you.

Check out The Finished Draft here

Here’s to a May filled with words that flow, revisions that click, and the courage to finally finish.

You can do this. 🩵
